Only a 25 minute car journey from Ramada Coventry! Stratford-upon-Avon is most famous for the birthplace of the great influencer of our times, William Shakespeare.

The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust was formed in 1847 following the purchase of Shakespeare’s Birthplace as a national memorial. In 1964 to celebrate the four hundredth anniversary of Shakespeare’s birth the Trust threw open the doors of its new headquarters and study facility, the Shakespeare Centre.

This distinctive building provides a home for the Trust’s extensive Shakespeare Centre library and archive (including the RSC archive).

Mary Arden’s Farm

Anne Hathaway’s Cottage & Gardens

Hall’s Croft

Harvard House
Harvard House is one of Stratford-upon-Avon’s most striking Elizabethan town houses, at what is now 26 High Street, Stratford-upon-Avon. Explore this unique three-storey town house, learn about its fascinating story and admire the fine exterior oak carvings, 16th Century stained glass and painted panels within.
